YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports that inform decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and Business teams to understand problem statements and translate them into impactful, data-driven visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and define KPIs.

• Build end-to-end dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, including advanced DAX functions and data models.

• Write efficient, production-grade SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate large datasets across multiple sources.

• Convert ambiguous business questions into structured data analysis frameworks and reporting solutions.

• Identify key trends and insights that can influence business decisions.

• Maintain high standards in data integrity, documentation, and reproducibility.

• Help define and evolve internal data practices and reporting frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data pipelines and ensure data availability.

• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ensure all outputs meet standards for accuracy, consistency, and compliance (data governance).

• Handle complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning in SQL.

• Develop scalable reporting systems that grow with evolving data and business requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL—must be able to handle complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.

• Deep expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Strong analytical mindset and business acumen.

• Experience working with large datasets and data from multiple sources.

• Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly detail-oriented with a passion for clean, compelling visualizations.

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in the payments, loyalty, or employee engagement industries is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an MNC setup (global stakeholders, processes, and compliance).  

• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence.  

• Exposure to data pipeline development and ETL processes for integrating multiple data sources.  

• Relevant certifications in data analytics or business intelligence (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate and/or Power BI certifications).  

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and integrating analytics workflows into collaborative development environments.  

• Experience with Azure Data Platform and Azure Data Factory pipelines.

Location: Thane, Mumbai. We follow a hybrid schedule, where employees are expected to be in

the office three days a week.
